For trade firms

Terms

The deal between BookedJobs and your firm, in plain words.

Who these terms are for

These terms are between BookedJobs ("we" and "us") and the firm that signs up ("you").

BookedJobs is a trading name of Talisman Retail Limited, 9/F Amtel Building, 148 Des Voeux Rd, Central, Hong Kong.

They are for businesses only. We do not sell to people buying for their own home.

You agree to these terms when you say yes to our offer by email, or when you pay your first bill.

What you get

  • A booking page with your name, logo and colours, on its own web link.
  • Hosting, so the page stays online.
  • A reply in your name to each person who leaves their details.
  • Follow-up emails, plus texts to people who said yes to texts, until they book or say stop. Up to 500 texts a month.
  • Each lead sent to you by email and text as it comes in.
  • Changes to your page when you ask.
  • A short note each month: how many people asked and how many booked.

We cannot promise how many enquiries or jobs you will get. That depends on your visitors, your prices and your work.

Price and payment

£199 a month. There is no set-up fee.

You see your page working before you pay anything.

You pay each month in advance by card, through Stripe. Stripe handles your card details, and we never see the full card number.

If you send more than 500 texts in a month: we will tell you first and agree any extra cost with you before more texts go out.

If a payment fails, we will email you. If it is still not paid after 14 days, we may switch your page off until it is.

We may change the price. We will email you at least 30 days before, and you can stop before the new price starts.

Starting and stopping

There is no tie-in. You can stop at any time by giving us 30 days' notice by email.

We can also stop with 30 days' notice by email. We can stop at once if you don't pay, if you break these terms, or if the page is used in a way that breaks the law.

When it ends, we take your page down. Ask within 30 days and we will send you a list of your leads. After that, we delete them.

Your part

  • Give us true details about your firm, such as your name, logo, prices, areas, phone and email.
  • Only give us logos, photos and words you have the right to use. You still own them. You let us use them on your page while it runs.
  • Check your page and your messages before they go live, and tell us if anything is wrong.
  • Reply to your leads. We send them to you. The call and the quote are yours.

Our part

  • We build and run your page with care and skill.
  • We aim to keep it online all the time. We cannot promise it will never go down, but if it does, we will fix it as fast as we can.
  • We own the code and the design behind the page. Your name, logo and words stay yours.

Your customers' details

The people who use your booking page are your customers. You decide how their details are used, so the law calls you the controller. We handle the details for you, so we are the processor.

  • We only use their details to run your page and send your messages.
  • We keep them safe and private. Only trusted service firms help us, such as our email, text and web hosting firms.
  • Texts only go to people who said yes to texts on your page. Every message tells them how to stop.
  • If something goes wrong with their details, we tell you straight away.
  • If one of your customers asks to see or delete their details, we help you do it.
  • When the service ends, we send the details back to you or delete them, as you choose.

Limits

Neither of us has to pay the other for lost profit, lost jobs or lost business.

The most we will pay you for any claim is what you paid us in the 3 months before the problem.

Nothing in these terms limits what either of us owes for death or injury caused by carelessness, or for fraud.

Other things

We may change these terms. We will email you at least 30 days before. If you don't like a change, you can stop before it starts.

If one part of these terms can't be used, the rest still counts.

The law of England and Wales applies, and its courts deal with any dispute.
